Ordering a Quarter

How to Begin: 

You'll start the process by calling Shellie at 920-905-3802 or emailing meadowbrookbeef@gmail.com. We will ask for your name, address, number, email, and any other important information you think we might need. At this point, we will take your credit card information and charge a $200 downpayment and we will give you an approximate pick up date. 


Cost for an American Kobe Beef quarter is $4.50/lb. hanging weight. Now Reduced to $3.50/lb hanging weight!

Animals vary in size, but expect a quarter to be between 175 and 200 lbs. hanging weight.


Cost for a Dairy/Beef Cross Steer quarter is $2.50/lb. hanging weight. 

Animals vary in size, but expect a quarter to be between 200 and 250 lbs. hanging weight.


Take home is approximately 70% of hanging weight. Quarters are actually a split half, meaning that you will receive half of the front and half of the hind quarter.





We use Otto's Meats in Luxemberg, Wisconsin. Otto's is USDA Inspected butcher shop and hand processes all cutting and packing. Otto's Meats will call you to obtain cutting instructions so that you can have it cut your way. (Don't worry, they will walk you through it and let you know the most common options if you ask!) They will also tell you the pick up date, and you will pay them directly for the processing when you pick up your beef. Cost of cut, wrap, and freeze will be approximately 75 cents/lb. hanging weight.  



The meat is frozen and vacuum-sealed per item with labels according to cut.


Pick Up: 

You will pick up your beef at Otto’s Meats, N5674 Adams Street, Luxemburg, WI 54217 on the specified date. Their phone number is 920-845-2612.


There is a $200 down payment, paid at the time of your order. The balance is due when we call you with the hanging weight. We will leave a message with the balance due and charge your credit card the following day. (CASH, CHECK, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND DISCOVER) You will pay Otto's Meats directly for cut/wrap at the time of pick-up.
